Getting started
We recommend browsing the Settings of the app before creating a report. You can get to know the app capabilities and customize your workflow.
Managing your subscription
To cancel or change WaveLedger Pro, open Settings in the app and tap Manage Subscription. You can also open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then Subscriptions. If you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. Setting up a new device? Tap Restore Purchases in the app’s Settings to bring Pro back. Billing and refunds are handled by Apple.
Timecode and the clock
WaveLedger’s timecode runs on your iPhone or iPad’s own clock. It can’t jam-sync with your recorder, slate, or other timecode devices yet, and it doesn’t connect to any external hardware. You can line it up by hand: tap the timecode on the console, type in a time, and tap Jam. Tap the clock button to go back to time of day. Because it isn’t locked to a timecode source, the clock can drift away from your recorder and isn’t frame-accurate. 23.976 and 29.97 are counted as 24 and 30 frames, and drop-frame isn’t applied. Treat logged timecode as a close reference, check it against your recorder, and edit a take’s TC In and TC Out if they need correcting.
